Job Description

To assist to coordinate the administrative and operations of the internal sales department.

Job requirements

• Grade 12 or NQF Level 4 equivalent.
• Diploma in Sales will be an advantage.
• At least 3 years internal sales experience within an FMCG environment.
• Must be computer literate – Microsoft Office (incl. Excel).
• CB – Code B driver’s license will be an advantage.
• Must be able and willing to work overtime including on weekends/ holidays when required.

Duties and responsibilities

• Issue restricted invoices for certain transaction after the truck was loaded.
• Continuously monitor clients account credit limits.
• Process all approved amendments by issuing credit notes.
• Generate sales orders on Navision.
• Ensure that the correct size and number of trucks are booked at Hestony on a daily basis.
• Generate purchase orders on Navision for transporters.
• Compile the product distribution report daily.
• Issue purchase invoices to Hestony daily.
• Booking of cold stores for loading of products as specified by management and shown by Navision.
• Reconciliation of cold store stock placing on a monthly basis.
• Continuous liaison with clients and internal departments with regards to relevant transactions.
• Log an OS ticket on the system for customer and/ or consumer complaints.
• Investigate customer or consumer complaints and send gift bag or give credit and send information to debtors to close the OS ticket.
• Mentor all employees concerned and train them to establish and maintain standards, best practices and processes.
• Complete all compulsory training interventions allocated by the direct Manager successfully.
• Maintaining a professional attitude and appearance.
• Any other duties as may be required by management.
