Position Purpose:
•Evaluation of the Business Requirements for business application integration, service activation and delivering new or modified software systems enhancements and/or integration solutions
within Transnet.
•The creation of the system design and functional specifications for all new development projects.
•To interact with stakeholders to develop Business solutions to meet business needs.
Qualifications & Experience:
•Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in either Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field
is required.
•At least 5 years’ experience as an SAP Business Analyst or similar role in a large corporate environment
•A SAP Certification will be advantageous
•Relevant Project Management/BA certification will be advantageous.
•Experience with System Development Life cycle will be an added advantage.

Position outputs:
•Identify and records processes for automation and business insights.
•Elicit business and systems requirements for automation and business insights.
•Translate requirements into process definition documentation or necessary Business Requirement Specifications.
•Works with the Technical Teams to document technical requirements.
•Analyse and evaluate existing systems for performance.
•Perform gap analysis and suggest solutions.
•Create plans for change based on analyzed requirements.
•Interpreting data, analysing trends, and identifying patterns using statistical methods.
•Simulate and test suggestions made for performance.
•Write user manuals and prepare easy to understand documentation.

•Creating detailed documentation regarding the project’s scope and objectives, activities performed and findings.
•Communicating information effectively to non-technical staff members through presentations, reports, and other written
materials.
•Working with other members of a team to determine how best to apply new technologies to meet organizational goals and
improve efficiency.
