Jobs Description

Position Purpose:
•To analyse large volumes of structured and unstructured data to discover patterns and trends.
•To identify valuable data sources and automate collection processes.
▪ To build predictive models and machine-learning algorithms.
•To research and formulate innovative statistical models for data analysis
Position outputs:
•Identify relevant data sources for large structured and unstructured datasets, to provide technical expertise for the analysis,
design, development and automating and integrating business processes.
•Formulate and utilize algorithms and models to mine big data.
•Perform data analysis to improve models and clean and validate data for uniformity and accuracy.
•Collecting, analysing, interpreting, and reporting data for trends and patterns to stakeholders.
•Enhancing data collection strategies to include relevant information for developing analytic systems.
•Processing, cleansing, and validating the integrity of data to be used for analysis.
•Managing master data, including creation, updates, and deletion.
•Design, develop and manage dashboards for reporting.
•Implement analytical models into production by collaborating with software developers.
•Research, evaluate and implement existing applications and/or customized solutions for stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience:
•Bachelor’s Degree in either Mathematics, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or related field
•At least 5 years’ experience as a Data Scientist / Data Analyst, or similar role in a large corporate
•Experience with Excel, SQL, SAS, PowerBI, Java, and Python will be advantageous
•Experience with data querying languages, and statistical or mathematical software
