Requirements:
3 years’ Degree or equivalent in HR/IR/LLB or related field
At least 2 years’ experience in Industrial Relations and Litigation
6+ years’ experience in an HR/IR management position
Large/complex union negotiations
Multi-union experience
Formulation of medium- and long-term IR strategy
Behavioral and cultural change experience
Ability to effectively interact with all staff at all levels to sort out any labor issues.
Industrial Relations
Ensure disciplinary code is implemented fairly.
Handle potential IR queries/problems before it causes dissent.
Ensure an effective IR climate prevails with fair practices in the regions.
Provide Line Management with effective and latest IR advice.
Represent the company at CCMA & Labour Court when required.
Facilitate management\shop stewards’ meetings in the regions\company
Responsible for handling and resolving of staff grievances (salary and wages)
Implementation of the industrial action plan
Wage negotiations
Strike Management
Retrenchments
