The IIE Varsity College, Sandton Campus has a vacancy for a Lecturer in Criminology (School of Humanities and Social Sciences)

  • Bachelor of Social Sciences – Criminology

Key Performance Areas

  • Lecturing in the form of either face-to-face sessions with students and/or online sessions;
  • Invigilation of formative assessment as may be required;
  • Diligent preparation for lectures, including preparation of in-class activities;
  • Marking and providing constructive feedback to students on all assessments;
  • Review of module/ subject material on the prescribed template.

Minimum Education Requirements:

  • An Honours degree in Criminology (preferably a Masters degree or higher)

Minimum Experience Requirements:

  • Lecturing experience in a tertiary environment
  • 3 years minimum Lecturing experience
  • Relevant industry experience is essential

Working Conditions:

  • Please note that this is an Independent Contractor role
