GPG Vacancies For Material Recording Clerk Jobs Description 2022-2023

Jobs Description

Requirements :

  • Grade 12 certificate or equivalent qualification. Degree/diploma in Supply Chain Management/Purchasing Management/Logistics Management/Accounting/Financial Management or equivalent will be added as advantage. One (1) years’ experience within Supply Chain Management will be an added advantage. Good understanding of SCM Policy, PFMA, Treasury Regulations, BBBEE, PPPFA Inventory management policy and contract Management policy. Computer literacy. Problem solving and record keeping skills. Good communication skills. Ability to work under pressure. Rotate to other sections within SCM.

Duties :

  • Ensure that all transactions are accurately recorded in tally cards, and bin cards. Receiving and issuing of stock, check for correctness quality and quantity. Store stock according to the prescribed warehouse management principles. Monitor the availability of stock. Ensure safekeeping of all stock and stock records. Ensure that requisitions are attended on time. Report disposable stock items to Stores Manager, Compiling RLS01 for stock replenishment, Calculate the weighted average prices. Calculate the minimum and maximum stock levels on tally cards. Replenish stock when you reach your safety stock levels. Participate in bi-annual and year end stock counts. Ensure journals are done daily. File all requisitions and invoices captured. Attend to internal and external audit queries. Generate monthly reports.

  • The fully completed and signed z83 should be accompanied by a recent updated CV, copies of all qualifications and identity document do not need to be certified upon application, only shortlisted candidates will receive communication from HR to submit certified copies on the day of interview.
