Experience:

4 years: Experience in engineering design, design integration  and engineering  management  in power generation technologies for materials  handling  plant,  low  pressure services  plant,  chemical plant,  boiler emissions  control, milling,  draft group,  burners,  power  plant processes, turbine center line,  pumps,  gas turbines,  high pressure equipment,  feed heating  and cooling,  solar  plants,  wind energy  plant and related  chemistry  systems,  electrical, C&I  and civil.

8 years: National Higher Diploma  -T4)- Eight years post qualification  experience

Key Responsibilities

 Provides professional technical leadership over engineers within their own discipline
 Manages and conducts product, equipment, material, service, and change impact evaluations
 Participates in national and international technical forums
 Conducts discipline-specific research into new technologies
 Provides input into discipline-specific technology vision, strategy and direction setting
 Develops and approves discipline specific philosophies, technical standards, procedures,  work practices  and specifications for approval
 Provides a technical consulting and investigation service for customers
 Produces and integrates engineering solutions/designs for asset creation on behalf of customers at various stages of the project lifecycle
