Our Client in Financial Services based in Sandton is looking for a CA
Minimum requirements:

  • CA, minimum two years post-qualification experience ideally including time spent in an investment management or fund management environment
  • Excellent team working skills and ability to work independently 
  • Appetite to work with service providers in multiple jurisdictions
  • Responsible for Finance Management
  • Treasury function, cash management of South Africa, and multiple entities 
  • Weekly payments, bank reconciliation, invoice log, monitor creditors’ age analysis
  • Preparation of invoices, including intercompany, external, and interest / principal payments, assisting in collection, and monitoring debtors’ age analysis
  • Preparation of annual budget (updated half-yearly), monitoring the firm’s performance against budget, and advise leadership on revenue/cost management
  • SARS filings including VAT and Provisional Tax, VAT reconciliation, Global Tax considerations to minimize tax impact on investments
  • Fund Accountant duties include:
  • Review the valuation of the underlying investments in line with Fair Value reporting for IFRS 9 and IPEV Guidelines
  • Review of the calculation of the fund flows and reconciliation of the fund NAV
