Click Learning Vacancies For Asset & Logistics Manager Jobs Description 2022-2023

Jobs Description

Asset Management

Manage the Warehouse team and pipeline of packing/allocation of shipments.
Monitor and manage all repairs from Repair Suppliers, including ticketing, approving repairs and movement of assets.
Keep systems and spreadsheets up to date with stock movement and distribution, ensuring data accuracy.
Explore new processes and manage asset preparation in the warehouse, including developing strategies to enhance the process.
Ensure all assets are properly tagged and recorded into the Asset Management system.
Ensure all assets received from suppliers are in working condition.
Take ownership of Click’s Asset Management system and ensure the data has a high level of accuracy at all times. Produce reports as needed by other click departments.
Own operational relationship with partners for asset maintenance.
Development and refinement of process documentation.
Manage resources / strategies of asset distribution and replacement, including forecast of ageing assets.
Logistics

Own the operational relationship with logistic partners.
Schedule & manage deliveries, print waybills, track shipments.
Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure a smooth process of shipment.
Coordinate with direct operations/schools to ensure receiving of goods.
Insurance

Responsible for the Insurance team and asset insurance in all existing and pipeline schools.
Own operational relationship with insurance partners.
Ensure partners are kept up to date of all new assets that require insurance, and all assets that no longer require insurance.
Manage the process of insurance claims and necessary data for all break ins & thefts.
Maintain a high level of accuracy of assets insured vs the Asset Management system.
Update reports and financial audits related to Insurance.

The Asset & Logistics Manager must meet the following criteria:

Minimum qualification: Matric, any IT hardware management or asset management qualifications advantageous
Minimum 5 years experience in a senior role related to asset / stock management & logistics, including managing a warehouse and logistics team
Experience in tech procurement advantageous
Excellent computer skills and proficient in excel, word, outlook, and powerpoint and experience with g-suite advantageous
Experience using asset management software is a must
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Excellent relationship building skills
Proven work experience in project management and planning / forecasting organisation needs
Ability to manage multiple projects and teams
Strong Information Technology knowledge and ability to learn and apply new technologies and skills
Strong knowledge of administrative effectiveness and operations management
In-depth knowledge of preparing and reviewing contracts, invoicing, and negotiation terms
Must be legally eligible to work full time in South Africa. Preference will be given to Employment Equity candidates.
