Busamed Gateway Private Hospital Vacancies For Registered Nurse Jobs Description 2022-2023

Jobs Description

Current SANC registration
Compliance with the SANC code for a Registered Nurse and all applicable health care legislation
Work Experience
Working experience in private healthcare or healthcare funding industry would be an advantage.
Relevant experience in the cardiac nursing discipline / Cath lab environment would be an advantage
Capacity to implement and maintain standards of health practice required from all accredited bodies and appropriate health legislation
Knowledge
Assist the cardiologists with coronary, interventional, cardiac device and electrophysiology procedures
Scrub and circulating nurse duties
Ability to assist with stock control in the Cath lab
Have an interest in high level cardiology
Ensure that all documentation is maintained timeously and accurately, reflecting patient care
Knowledge and application of Cath lab policies and procedures
Maintain a therapeutic, clean and safe environment that is free from medico-legal hazards
On call duties and have own transport
Ensure correct and proper use and maintenance of Cath lab equipment.
Promotion of patient overall health and wellbeing
Computer Literacy essential and fluent communication in English essential.
