Anchor Executive Recruitment Vacancies For Senior Financial Officer Jobs Description 2022-2023

Jobs Description

Preparation of annual budgeting, including budgets for Forex;
Processing and production of monthly management accounts, including review of monthly expenditure against budget, and updating of monthly forecasts.
Full bookkeeping function from processing of cash books to journals, cash flow management, petty cash, and payroll.
Handling all statutory requirements and submissions such as PAYE, UIF, EMP501, and ensuring adherence to all statutory regulations, strict compliance with company law and SARS regulations, and management of overall fiscal integrity.
Maintain fixed asset register for audit purposes and review and adjust depreciation annually.
Provide reports and statistical information for Management, Funders, Board, and Board committees, when necessary.
Strong ability to interpret and comment on various Annual Financial Statements from various sources.
Contribute to other support service functions such as Procurement, Information Technology, Office Management, Governance and Risk Management.
Handling the payroll and associated payments, including loading of new employees and contract terminations.
Contributing to the management team in understanding the organisation’s needs, to contribute to improved systems, and performance in attaining overall strategic goals.
Improvements to financial systems, policies and overall output.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:

Minimum B. Com plus articles (possibly SAIPA qualified) or similar level including strong auditing experience.
At least ten years of senior Financial Accounting experience at least partly within a non-profit organisation.
It is preferable that you live in easy distance from Kenilworth and have your own transport, and as it is a donor funded organisation there is no consideration for relocation from other areas.
