Jobs DescriptionPurpose of Position: To assist with the management and maintenance of all Ampath facilities according to the
Requirements: Grade 12 (Required), Management Certificate and / or Diploma (Required), N4 electrical, Certificate in Facilities management (Required), Valid South African drivers licence (Code EB) (Required)
Required Experience: A minimum of 10 years in Facilities maintenance, A minimum of 5 years of construction experience, A minimum of 5 years’ experience managing off-site facilities
Key Responsibilities: Assist with the implementation of a national Ampath Facilities and maintenance Strategic Plan., Assist with the management and executing of facilities projects (renovations, repairs and new construction)., Assist with the management of contractual and operational matters with external contractors and outsourced facilities services., Assist with the management of the existing daily preventative and routine maintenance of Ampath buildings and facilities., Assist with the management of the internal Ampath facilities staff on a daily basis across Ampath’s business units., Ensure compliance with the applicable BCEA, LRA, OHS Acts., Liaise and collaborate with all role players internally and externally on maintenance, renovation and construction projects., Liaise with and manage contractors and various consultants on daily maintenance tasks and construction and renovation projects., Maintain good client relations to promote the image of Ampath., Responsible for management of all construction and continued renovation of Ampath facilities according to strategic plans., To ensure all Ampath’s facilities property (tools, assets) are recorded, maintained and safeguarded against theft., To ensure that all appropriate procedural and financial controls are in place and compliance with Ampath’s procurement, financial and human resources policies. |
