Job Description
Manage product training within deployed regions/subsidiaries – UBS & CBS
Collaborate with manager to determine roll-out plans within new areas
Determine and recommend refresher training schedules
Actively promote benefits of UBS such as improved safety, more efficient logistics, capability, coupling ratios, improved fragmentation, lower fume emissions etc.
Develop continuous improvement practices to ensure accuracy and efficiency of processes
Manage trial/project processes in newly identified areas to ensure successful delivery of required trial outcomes and change management
Comply with governance and established policies, systems, procedures and practices
Comply with Safety, Health and Environment standards
Customer and market research
Working with technical to finalise functional specifications
Contribute to user requirements both equipment and applications
Competitive analysis for use internally at the company
Running alpha/beta programs and capturing early customer feedback
Participate in Risk assessments on any new ideas and or hazardous operations
Product consultations and investigations
Recommend continuous business improvement and change management

Qualifications & Experience
Matric
Relevant degree or higher diploma
Qualified assessor
At least 7 years underground mining experience
Knowledge of AECI Mining Explosives’ products and equipment
Knowledge of underground mining under different conditions
Explosives Engineer
Working knowledge of SAP system
Knowledge of the OHS Act, Explosives Act and the MHSA.
