Jobs Description

The Automation Engineer will be require to connect with Business, understand the requirement, in some cases help define the requirements. This will lead into utilizing Python, Jython, java, SQL\No-SQL queries, stored procedures, BI tools, Monitoring tools etc. to turn raw data into information and insight, which can be used to make business decisions.

Development includes RPA analysis

Using automated tools to extract data from primary and secondary sources

Developing and maintaining databases, data systems – reorganizing data in a readable format

Provide guidance with process design.

Design, develop, and test automation workflows.

Deploy RPA components including bots, robots, development tools, code repositories and logging tools.

Support the launch and implementation of RPA solutions.

Create process and end-user documentation.

Performing analysis to assess quality and meaning of data

Assure the quality of the automation (QA processes).

Work with Business Analysis, Scrum Masters, QA Analysts, Product Owners, and other cross-functional resources to define and deliver business impacting projects.

Using statistical tools to identify, analyze, and interpret patterns and trends in complex data sets that could be helpful for the diagnosis and prediction

Working with engineers, and management heads to identify process improvement opportunities, propose system modifications, and devise data governance strategies.

Knowledge of programming languages like Python, Jython ,java,SQL, No-SQL.

Experience in handling reporting packages like Business Objects, programming (Javascript, or ETL frameworks), databases

Proficiency in statistics and statistical packages like Excel to be used for data set analyzing

Adept at queries, writing reports, and making presentations

Team-working skills

Good communication and presentation skill

Define testing requirements (pass or fail test cases)

Support the development of detailed business cases (including defining solution characteristics, effort estimations etc.)

Translate business requirements into detailed systems requirements. Detailed system requirements must include all capabilities, interfaces and functionalities within and across technologies.
Job Description

DevOps
• Apply critical thinking, design thinking and problem solving skills in an agile team environment to solve technical problems (Front End, Back End OR Middleware) with high quality solutions
• Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle including
• Evaluate analysis, problem definition, business requirements, solution development & provide recommendations to enable the operational feasibility of solutions
• Quickly produce well-organised, optimized, and documented source code to deliver technical solutions
• Ensure designs & solutions support the technical organisation principles of self-service, repeatability, testability, scalability & resilience
• Apply general design patterns and paradigms to deliver technical solutions
• Support the development of CI / CD Pipelines (authoring & supporting CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins / similar tools and deploying to multi-site Kubernetes environments – supporting and managing your applications all the way to production)
• Use & configure modern observability techniques leveraging e.g. aggregated logging via ELK stack, metrics via Prometheus / Grafana / NewRElic and tracing using Zipkin/Jaeger
• Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting e.g. Jenkins, Docker, Ansible, Kubernetes
• Debug existing source code and polish feature sets.
• Work with integrated teams and other developers to improve and evolve technical products and services
• Align all application development & development process to Group Architecture & Infrastructure guidelines
• Provide input into project & program teams (when required) to plan & manage the development lifecycle e.g. releases, risk management, testing, integration etc.
• Conduct reviews, performance monitoring & ongoing optimization and maintenance on applications
• Stay ahead of the curve on emerging technologies and development practices and continuously evolve existing knowledge & skill in preparation for cross domain and other experiences e.g. Secure Side, Testing, Infrastructure solutions etc.
People
• Conduct peer reviews, testing, problem solving within and across the broader team
• Support the people change teams in the development of user material (Customer, Employee & 3rd Party Adoption)
Risk & Governance
• Identify technical risks and mitigate these (pre, during & post release)
• Update / Design all application documentation aligned to the organization technical standards and risk / governance frameworks
• Participate in incident management & DR activity – applying critical thinking, problem solving & technical expertise to get to the bottom of major incidents
